Job Description

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years proven prior success in roles directly implementing Workday

  • 2+ years proven prior leading Workday, Financials implementations

  • Huron requires a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • Travel up to 50%

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Workday Certification or equivalent practical experience in one or more of the following; Financial Accounting, Core Financials Banking and Settlements, Expenses, Customer Account or Grants Management,

  • Experience leading Workday Financials design and customer confirmation sessions

  • Experience configuring all aspects of Workday Financials and the related Customer Accounts functionality

  • Experience configuring or a deep understanding of Workday Payroll Accounting is a plus

  • Experience with project or workstream planning and management

  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

  • Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives, including those that lead the sponsored research functions, on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism

  • Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project or workstream management and technical dimensions

  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration

  • Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams

  • Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies

  • Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications a plus
