As an Infrastructure Configuration Consultant within PNC's Technology organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH or Dallas TX.

PNC is seeking an Infrastructure Configuration Consultant as a key member of a newly formed 'Digital Employee Experience' team. This group will be focused on improving the end user experience by proactively identifying and solving problems (big and small) to the benefit of PNC's end users. Using the 1E Platform (formerly Tachyon, now TeamViewer) this position is focused on automation and proactive insights as the key to incident reduction and elimination. Using a broad range of technical &/or development skills the ideal candidate will work across the organization to identify opportunities to enhance end user productivity, avoid / prevent incidents and increase the effectiveness of our support organization. Ancillary skills around data presentation & analysis (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) are also desired but not required.
All candidates should demonstrate a wide range of end-user technology experience in an environment where scale matters. Experience with the 1E Platform is preferred but experience with similar platforms like NextThink, Systrack, etc. will also be considered. Candidates with a background in application development and automation will also be considered if they can demonstrate the needed skills re: end-user technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using SQL, PowerShell, and 1E SCALE
• Support Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune for device management and compliance.
• Help administer Microsoft 365 (M365) services and contribute to modern workplace initiatives.
• Perform basic SQL queries and assist with reporting using Power BI.
• Learn and apply API integration concepts for automation and system interoperability.
• Provide support for Windows client infrastructure, including troubleshooting and configuration.
• Participate in ITIL-based processes for incident and change management using ServiceNow.
• Assist with security-related tasks, including Zscaler configuration and monitoring.

Job Description
  • Manages the requirements for planning, organizing, and implementing enterprise-wide technology infrastructure and configuration management functions.
  • Leads the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of major configuration changes from acquisition to termination.
  • Oversees the effective implementation and use of the configuration management process, methodology, tools, procedures, and audit activities.
  • Develops and publishes metrics to qualify and quantify configuration success; ensures that configuration practices are in compliance with standards.
  • Ensures the accuracy and validity of the configuration database for content on assets, major infrastructure and platform components, system documentation and service components.

Base Salary: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
