The Senior Applications Engineer position plays an important role in support, enhancement, & integration of this platform. This is a senior technical role within the Service Management Systems (SMS) team. Although there is no supervisory function in this role the resource plays an important technical lead within the team. This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.
Senior ServiceNow Applications Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design and build integrations with various systems (especially using Integration Hub).
- Develop code per best practices of ServiceNow for enhancements.
- Ensure the platform adheres to corporate Security Policy as well as ISO 27001/2 requirements.
- Install and maintain ServiceNow patches up to date.
- Learn the corporate ITSM processes to address Change Requests, Incidents, Problems, etc.
- Manage the users, groups, and their specific access to the platform.
- Mentor the technical resources within the SMS team.
- Monitor the MID Servers to ensure adequate uptime and accurate configuration.
