Analyst Sr System Admin

Contract – 12+ month

Hybrid – 3 days onsite/2 days work from home

Houston, TX

We are looking for an Endpoint Solutions Specialist to join our IT team and help us design and implement solutions for managing and securing our Windows devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager and other technologies. Candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the architecture, planning, deployment, and support of Windows devices across multiple sites SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and other tools.  

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

·         Define and document the endpoint management strategy, vision, and roadmap for the organization

·         Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions for Windows device management and security

·         Design and implement solutions for Windows device configuration, deployment, update, and compliance using UEFI, BIOS, PowerShell, GPO, registry, patching, SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, application packaging, and other tools

·         Design and implement solutions for Windows device backup, recovery, and migration using Windows Server, Windows 10 and Windows 11, MDT, Sysprep, WinPE, WIM, WAIK, and other tools

·         Provide technical leadership and guidance to the endpoint management team and other IT staff

·         Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Windows device management and security

·         Monitor and optimize the performance and security of Windows devices and endpoint management infrastructure

·         Ensure the alignment of endpoint management solutions with the organization’s policies, standards, and best practices

·         Provide training and documentation for endpoint management solutions and processes

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

·         Expert knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11, PowerShell, and Azure Active Directory

·         Expert knowledge of Microsoft Operating System deployment, UEFI, BIOS, GPO, and registry management

·         Expert knowledge of SCCM, Intune, and Autopilot configuration and deployment

·         Expert knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), and Configuration Manager (ConfigMgr)

·         Expert knowledge of application packaging and deployment using MSI, EXE, APPX, MSIX, and other formats

·         Expert knowledge of Windows data migration, recovery, and migration using Windows Server, MDT, Sysprep, WinPE, WIM, Waik, and other tools 

·         Experience with multisite device management, including managing devices across different domains, networks, and locations

·         Experience with Windows security features and settings, such as BitLocker, Credential Guard, Device Guard, and Windows Hello

·         Experience with Windows patching and updating using SCCM, Intune, and Autopilot, including creating, deploying, and monitoring software updates and feature updates. 

·         Experience with Windows troubleshooting and recovery tools, such as Event Viewer, Task Manager, Registry Editor, and DISM

·         Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

·         Travel 5-10%

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

·         Knowledge of Syxsense patching solution is a plus.

·         Certification in Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate is a plus

Required Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

·         10+ years of experience in Windows device management and security
