Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EDI Analyst to join our team. As an EDI Analyst, you will assist with the implementation, configuration, and support of EDI systems, ensuring seamless data exchange between internal systems and external partners.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sets up, configuration, and testing of EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856) between our company and external trading partners.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot EDI data transmissions, resolving issues related to data integrity, mapping, or transmission errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into EDI system configurations.
  • Develop, maintain, and update EDI documentation, including data mappings, communication protocols, and technical specifications.
  • Provide day-to-day support for EDI processes, ensuring timely processing and resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular testing of EDI transactions, working with business partners and vendors to ensure smooth integrations.
  • Assist in maintaining EDI software, tools, and systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Support the EDI team with ad-hoc projects and system enhancements as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • 5+ years relevant experience with a solid understanding of EDI and business applications
  • Boomi Platform experience.
  • EDI standards and formats (e.g., X12, EDIFACT).
  • Experience with data transmission protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
  • Conversant with all phases of Project Life Cycle including Requirement gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Testing, Software quality standards and configuration management and change management and Quality procedures.
  • Ability to read, build, & run SQL queries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the EDI space.

Preferred Skills (not required but beneficial:
  • Experience with ECS/Delta.
  • Experience with ERP's.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages.
  • Helpdesk Ticketing System
