GeoLogics is working with a top Aerospace and Defense client looking for a Production Configuration Management Analyst in York, PA
Role: Production Configuration Management Analyst
Client: Top Aerospace and Defense company
Location: York, PA
Contract Length and Schedule: 1 year long with possibility of extension, 9/80, Temp to Hire
Education: 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience
Rate: Up to $37.51 (per hour on a non-benefitted W2 contract)

Job Description:
As a Production Configuration Management Analyst you will:
  • Lead role for processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN's) and provide direction for implementation plan.
  • Review and analyze Technical Drawing Package (TDP) along with change documents and compare to current Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM).
  • Identify impact to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow to the assembly floor and Work Instructions.
  • Work with other manufacturing functions to gather information related to current configuration of the (MBOM).
  • Arrange and conduct natural team meetings to determine plan to implement changes and follow on task.
  • Provide technical input and guidance for problem solving.

Skills Required:
  • 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • Experience with reading drawings for multiple programs (TDP).
  • Knowledge of Bill Of Materials (BOM).
  • Knowledge/Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management System (EPDM).
  • Experience using OBIEE to export file used to highlight changes to MBOM.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Oracle, Item Master, Drawing File, Bills of Materials, Routings.
  • Knowledge/Experience with excel systems required.
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and written.
  • Have an understanding of processes to build and make products such as sub-assembly, installation, machining, welding, paint, marking, etc.
  • Have an understanding of how to process non-conforming parts for re-work or upgrade by an outside service provider (OSP).
