Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Business Analyst with strong expertise in Configuration Management, Discovery, and Service Mapping. The role involves gathering and translating business requirements, working closely with stakeholders and platform teams, and ensuring successful delivery of ServiceNow CMDB solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the ServiceNow platform team
  • Capture and document business and user requirements (Agile user stories)
  • Ensure requirements are clearly understood, developed, tested, and delivered as specified
  • Own stakeholder relationships to identify, prioritize, and document business, process, and data requirements
  • Represent stakeholders during planning, development, and release cycles
  • Collaborate with platform teams to develop release estimates
  • Support testing activities and ensure solution quality
  • Drive user adoption and change management initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong understanding of ITIL v3 / v4 frameworks and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodology
  • 4+ years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB and Service Mapping requirements gathering
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery, including Cloud Discovery and CMDB population
  • Experience with Service Mapping, MID Server configuration, and data mapping
  • Understanding of integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (IntegrationHub is a plus)
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionalities
  • Knowledge of protocols: HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, REST
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to articulate ServiceNow capabilities aligned to business needs
