Position Summary

Global C2 Integration Technologies is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Configuration Manager to maintain configuration control and ensure ISO 9001-aligned quality assurance across system builds in a mission-critical, on-premises data center environment. This role supports system integration, testing, hardware and software acceptance, supply chain risk management (SCRM), and baseline control using established configuration management practices. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain configuration management processes aligned with industry standards and program requirements.
  • Manage system configuration baselines (hardware, software, firmware, and documentation) and track configuration items (CIs) throughout the lifecycle.
  • Ensure traceability between requirements, system builds, and deployed configurations.
  • Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB), manage change documentation, and conduct functional and physical configuration audits (FCA/PCA).
  • Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), including documentation, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage system build configurations, ensuring adherence to approved baselines, engineering specifications, and version control practices.
  • Maintain build records and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with engineering and integration teams.
  • Coordinate system integration, testing, validation, and verification activities; review test plans and ensure results meet requirements.
  • Track and resolve issues identified during testing and validation.
  • Oversee hardware and software acceptance with logistics, verifying compliance with procurement, security, and program requirements.
  • Maintain acceptance documentation and coordinate resolution of non-conforming items with vendors and internal teams.
  • Support SCRM efforts by validating component integrity, tracking supplier data, and assisting with risk assessments.
  • Manage build schedules and delivery timelines, aligning production, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
  • Provide status reporting on build readiness, delivery schedules, and configuration status.
  • Maintain configuration documentation (baselines, build records, acceptance records, and change control) and ensure audit readiness.
  • Support system certification, accreditation, and operational readiness reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in configuration management, system integration, or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience supporting government programs, system integration labs, or operational deployments.
  • Experience managing hardware and software baselines and coordinating test, validation, and acceptance activities.
  • Familiarity with SCRM and secure system delivery practices.
  • Strong documentation, process management, and organizational skills.
  • Overseas travel required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with government acquisition or defense system integration programs.
  • Familiarity with EIA-649 or MIL-STD-973, NIST SCRM, and RMF/NIST frameworks.
  • Experience with data centers, HPC, or mission processing systems.
  • Experience with build automation, version control, or DevOps in controlled environments.
  • Certifications such as CCM, PMP, ITIL, or Security+.
