Job description

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize system configuration processes, ensuring accurate configuration control, system integrity, and compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage configuration baselines, change requests, and system documentation.
  • Analyze configuration issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Coordinate configuration changes with engineering and project teams.
  • Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Support software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare configuration status reports and documentation for project leadership.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
  • Familiarity with CMII, EIA-649, or other Configuration Management standards.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of automated configuration management and CI/CD tools.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+ CE, ITIL Foundation, CMII, or PMP.
