Summary: • Implement and maintain robust configuration management and version control systems for hardware and software. • Manage system baselines and enforce standardized processes across development lifecycles. • Utilize industry-standard tools for configuration control, including DOORS, Git, and Subversion. • Provide comprehensive support for build, integration, testing, and release environments. • Develop and maintain automated build and release procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications & Compensation: Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Years of experience: 6+ years Salary: $143k+ yearly compensation Job Description: • Design, implement, and maintain Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes and procedures. • Establish and manage version control systems using tools such as Git and Subversion. • Define, establish, and enforce baselines for all software and hardware components. • Collaborate with Hardware Engineering teams to ensure consistent configuration control. • Utilize requirements management tools like DOORS for traceability and configuration item identification. • Support Software Development teams with configuration control best practices. • Develop and manage automated build and release procedures to support Continuous Integration (CI). • Oversee Integration and Test (I&T) environments, ensuring proper configuration for testing activities. • Assist with Software Testing efforts, verifying correct configurations are applied. • Troubleshoot and resolve configuration-related issues across development, integration, and test environments. • Document configuration items, processes, and procedures in accordance with project requirements.
