What You Will Do:

Manages configuration management processes, baselines, repositories, version control, change tracking, audits, and artifact governance for FMBT interface deliverables. Ensures source code, documentation, executable files, and configuration items are controlled, traceable, and maintained in Government-approved tools and repositories.

What You Will Need:

8+ years of configuration management experience supporting software development, systems integration, or federal IT programs

Experience establishing and maintaining configuration management plans, baselines, repositories, libraries, and version control processes

Experience supporting configuration audits, change tracking, configuration status accounting, and release/deployment controls

Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, Agility, or comparable configuration and artifact management tools

Experience coordinating configuration management with change management, incident management, release management, and testing processes

Ability to obtain and maintain VA access

Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments

Experience supporting Federal IT programs preferred

Experience supporting enterprise application implementations preferred

Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Agility, GitHub, or similar tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Experience supporting VA, FMBT, Momentum, or federal ERP programs preferred ITIL, SAFe, or configuration management certification preferred Experience with secure software libraries and long-term archive/backup strategies

The annual salary range for this position is $86,500.00-$129,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
