The Talent Management Intern will work closely with various members of the Talent Management Department in support of the Firmโ€™s Attorney Recruitment efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide support for the Attorney Recruiting operations.
  • Assist with entering candidate materials and updating candidate statuses in database as candidates move through the interview process.
  • Manage and ship recruitment materials.
  • Unpack post-event items and restock reusable materials.
  • Contribute to event preparation.
  • Assist with coordinating meetings for the attorney recruitment team including scheduling, submitting video conference and hospitality requests, booking conference rooms, and preparing materials.
  • Conduct research on new event venues and giveaway items.
  • Help generate reports and assist with maintaining accurate recruitment data.
  • Maintain search firm agreements and handle processing invoice payments.
  • Support the planning and execution of new attorney and paralegal orientation, including ordering equipment and sending calendar appointments and confirmation emails.
  • Communicate with multiple departments across the Firm.
  • Assist with various administrative duties and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

  • Some related recruitment or human resources experience/second or final Co-op preferred
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Strong administrative skills (typing, phone manners, etc.).
  • Strong computer skills to manage various candidate tracking and budget spreadsheets and databases.
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.ย
