What is a conference intern?

Conference Interns are individuals, often students or recent graduates, who assist in the planning, organization, and execution of conferences or large events. Their responsibilities may include tasks such as registration of attendees, providing information, helping with logistics, supporting speakers, and managing materials. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in event management, teamwork, and communication. Conference Interns often work under the supervision of event coordinators or managers and gain exposure to professional networking opportunities. Internships can be paid or unpaid and may last for the duration of a specific event or over a longer period.
