Description
TeamHealth is seeking a highly skilled and collaborative staff cardiac anesthesiologist to join our growing cardiovascular and perioperative services team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide comprehensive general and cardiac anesthesia care, including adult cardiac surgical procedures, structural heart interventions, and complex cardiovascular cases while contributing to the advancement of a high-quality, patient-centered cardiac anesthesia program.
Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center is a regional tertiary-care hospital serving west-central Pennsylvania. The medical center offers comprehensive cardiovascular services, advanced surgical capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care throughout the region. Physicians enjoy a collaborative practice environment supported by modern facilities, advanced technology, and a strong commitment to quality and patient safety.
Applicants must be board certified/board eligible in anesthesia. Completion of a cardiac anesthesia fellowship program is preferred, but not required, however, physicians must be cardiac-comfortable. TEE certification is not required.

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center has 537 inpatient, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and transitional care beds. A regional referral hospital known for clinical excellence, Conemaugh Memorial is home to the highest level of care designations for Neonatal Care (Level 3) and Trauma Care (Level 1). Conemaugh Memorial has received recognition by the American Heart Association with the Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. Conemaugh Memorial is proudly committed to being a teaching hospital including seven medical residency programs, School of Nursing, and Allied Health education programs.
