Job description

Objective
To profitably increase the retail sales of Team Cone's total product portfolio in the on and off premise trades. Target existing and new consumers utilizing the trade and convert method sampling designated Team Cone products driving consumer purchase intent. To assist the account manager sales team in the proper sales and execution of all products sold by Team Cone and assist in the correct marketing of those products at the retail level. To learn and maintain Cone Distributing Retail Call Standards. To adhere to quality assurance policies.
Responsibilities/Expectations
• Plan, organize and execute against sampling and event promotional calendar along with other events as directed.
• Communicate key learnings during sampling events to the appropriate department head.
• Gain and maintain up to date product knowledge for all assigned promoted brands
• Maintain professionalism in all areas representing Team Cone at the highest level
• Facilitate staff training to account staff to ensure proper promotion, and sale of Team Cone products.
• Work with retailers to maximize sales, execution and promotion of assigned products.
• Ensure all Point of Sale is used in the proper manner and quantity during promotional events.
• Conduct at minimum 10 sampling/promotional/special events on a weekly basis as laid out in Team Cone monthly promotional schedule.
• Actively participate in expanding Team Cone distribution while promoting products.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with owners, managers, and employees of Team Cone accounts.
• Be aware of all competitive activity and opportunities to increase sales in accounts. Report to appropriate department head.
• Demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of every account.
• Maintain open and clear communications with the owners, managers, and other employees of Team Cone.

• Conduct all your activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.

• Report all accidents and injuries to direct manager and follow policy as directed.
• Perform all work activities in accordance with the safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
• Manage within all assigned budgets
• Able to receive and maintain state issued "salesperson of wine and spirits" license.
• Must participate, communicate, and interact with Team Members, Vendors and Customers in a manner that will consistently enhance all Team Cone Core Values.
• Able to safely and responsibly offer retailer and consumer sampling of spirits, wine, malt and hemp beverages as well as kratom, kava and other consumables.
• Actively work with account managers and customers to achieve new distribution, menu placement and
consistent re-buys of Team Cone's product portfolio driven through sampling and promotional activities
• Offer on-going feedback regarding spirits department development and growth
Position Requirements
• Able to work autonomously.
• Must be able to travel to and work in all of Team Cone's market areas which at times may include overnight travel.
• Available to work evenings and weekends as needed, Tuesday-Saturday
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (outlook, excel, word.)
• Able to speak in front of groups of 10 or more.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Keep your vehicle clean and orderly.
• Dress and maintain your personal appearance in a professional manner and according to company policy.
• Attend all monthly sales plan meetings.
• Follow safety rules and in the use of equipment daily.
• Able to pass drug and background check.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Able to responsibly transport and manage samples to be used in the market.
• Report immediately to your Manager any traffic violations, on or off duty that may affect your insurability.
Education Requirements
• High School Diploma
• 2-year degree preferred.
• Experience in marketing, promotions and special events is a plus
