Role Overview


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the proper maintenance and installation of PLC units.

Install and repair electric/electronic equipment used in the plant.

Perform routine maintenance on various manufacturing equipment, machines, lighting, etc.

Provide your own set of tools.

General maintenance on all plant machinery.

Gather and remove debris as needed and directed. Maintain general cleanliness of plant and machinery.

Adhere to the required Standard Operating Procedures of the position.

Attend all required training, including operations, safety, completion of Forklift Inspections

and all other requirements as assigned and directed.

Consistently perform work in a safe and efficient manner with relation to machinery and

co-workers at all times. Adhere to and follow all safety rules and safe work methods.

Maintain a clean, orderly area and return supplies and equipment to assigned locations.

Must be available to report as required ("On-Call") as necessary to support the business.

Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor.


Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to handle materials and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.

Interpret and use wiring diagrams and blueprints.

Calibrate electric test equipment.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to learn, apply and demonstrate Standard Operating Procedures required for position.

Detail oriented. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to adhere to company policies, rules, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Good working knowledge of manufacturing plant machinery, equipment and processes.

Ability to safely operate Forklift and able to obtain and maintain Forklift License.

Must be able to read, speak and understand verbal and written direction in English for the safe and effective performance of the job.


Compensation

Hourly Rate: $31.66/Hour plus shift differential if applicable.
