Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Journeyman Technician to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Installs low voltage electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.
  • Tests electrical security systems to ensure proper installation and operation.
  • Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.
  • Installs conduits and pulls low voltage cable
  • Trims out security devices
  • Replaces conduit and wiring as needed
  • Ensures piping complies with electrical codes
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active Oregon LEA License
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Experience with Lenel a plus
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians and apprentices to complete complex projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry experience with emphasis on computer software operations
  • Basic computer skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools
  • Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic

Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $35-$50 per hour. The starting hourly pay will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
