Job description

Bilingual Property Manager – Residential Portfolio

Los Angeles, CA

Red Door Property Management is a growing Los Angeles property management company seeking an experienced bilingual Property Manager (English/Spanish) to join our team.

This is not an onsite or resident manager position. The Property Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of residential multifamily properties throughout the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners
  • Collect delinquent tenant rents
  • Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, repairs, vendors, and follow-up
  • Handle tenant issues, complaints, lease violations, and rent collection matters
  • Conduct property inspections and follow up on property conditions
  • Coordinate move-ins and move-outs
  • Work with our leasing and accounting teams
  • Prepare and serve routine notices as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate property and tenant records
  • Communicate regularly with owners regarding property operations and significant issues
  • Ensure assigned properties are managed professionally, efficiently, and responsively

Qualifications

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Prior property management experience preferred but not required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling difficult tenant situations professionally
  • Able to manage multiple properties and competing priorities
  • Strong follow-through and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to properties throughout the Los Angeles area
  • Experience with AppFolio is a major plus
  • Knowledge of Los Angeles-area landlord/tenant regulations is a plus
