Job description

We are currently looking for a full time (daytime) Site Cleaner/Concierge to join the team at 111 Echo Drive. The employer for this position is a Condominium Corporation that is managed by Apollo Property Management. The successful candidate is a team oriented, organized, self-motivated individual who is able to multi-task and has excellent

communication skills.


Amongst other duties this position will be responsible for the following responsibilities: 

  • Reports to the Site Superintendent;
  • Performs cleaning duties, minor interior and exterior repairs, regular building inspections, oversees the proper functioning of equipment;
  • Responds to owner/ resident requests/complaints in a courteous, friendly, prompt and professional manner;
  • Parcel delivery and grocery assistance to owners when required;
  • Meets outside contractors (in Site Superintendents absence) when working on site, ensures scope of work is being completed, reviews and reports to the Site Superintendent;
  • Maintains and checks building logs (Pool and Rec Centre);
  • Maintains suitable inventory of building maintenance and cleaning supplies;
  • Promotes and maintains site safety and security;
  • Performs any other duties as directed by the Site Superintendent and Property Manager.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma;
  • Clean Criminal Record Check;
  • 1-3 years of commercial, residential or institutional cleaning experience preferred;
  • Experience working in a condominium, apartment, hotel, or similar residential environment is an asset;
  • Basic maintenance or handyman experience is considered an asset;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Willingness to take initiative, work in a team environment and possess a strong work ethic;
  • Excellent customer service and a good understanding of onsite safety measures;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and respond to changing needs throughout the day;
  • Ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects (up to 50lbs for cleaning and maintenance purposes).
