Caterpillarโ€™s Customer Solutions Core Regions Division (CSCR) is hiring a Condition Monitoring Advisor to provide condition monitoring (CM) services to customers and Caterpillar business partners by providing proactive recommendations and participating in meetings to review recommendations.


Responsibilities: (What You Will Do)

  • Use multiple Caterpillar tools and software to perform Condition Monitoring such as Cat Foresight, VisionLink, SIS, SOS Web, and others for approximately 350 machines

  • Send recommendations based on data and insights to customers and/or dealers

  • Participate in monthly review meetings, presenting on findings and recommendations

  • Learn machine usage by application and machine telematics hardware and software

  • Learn about machine components life based on maintenance practices

  • Support CM Fleet Advisors as needed by monitoring large customers

  • Consulting skills and strong relationship management skills

  • Experience working within product support in a similar industry, with or within a dealer network, and/or in condition monitoring roles

  • Prior experience working hand-on with machinery, gaining understanding of condition monitoring application of needs

  • Experience working in service information / machine manuals / telematics

  • Working knowledge of Product Link, VisionLink, inspection processes, SOS Services, and the Service Information System (SIS)


Additional Details

  • Work location: Peoria, IL

  • Domestic relocation assistance is available

  • This position requires 5 days per week in office (M-F)


Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00


Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
