Job description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to support field service projects across a variety of industrial customer sites. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, travel, and learning new skills in industrial maintenance and reliability services.
As a Field Service Technician, you will support lubrication, filtration, oil flushing, and condition monitoring services while working alongside experienced technicians and customers in industrial facilities, refineries, manufacturing plants, and other field environments.
What You'll Do
Field Service & Maintenance
  • Perform rotating equipment lubrication services, filter exchanges, oil mist maintenance, and greasing system maintenance.
  • Collect lubricant samples and vibration data for equipment condition monitoring.
  • Operate oil transfer pumps, filtration systems, and flushing equipment.
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair field equipment.
  • Route piping and hoses as directed and assist with oil flushing projects.
  • Record equipment readings, gauge measurements, and inspection data.
  • Review procedures and job plans before execution.
  • Read and follow P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
  • Support refinery, manufacturing, and industrial plant operations.

Safety & Compliance
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and follow all site-specific safety requirements.
  • Utilize proper PPE and comply with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA/JSA), work permits, and reporting procedures.
  • Submit required documentation and completed paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, transporting, and maintaining equipment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Passport.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and site-specific clearances.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience working with pumps, valves, rotating equipment, or as a field service technician.
  • Experience in industrial, refinery, manufacturing, marine, or maintenance environments.
  • CDL Class A license.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, and work at heights up to 30 feet.
  • Ability to work in industrial environments, including outdoor conditions.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.
