Position is on the research staff of a government consulting organization and will be based out of Reston, VA. This position provides verified mathematical and scientific techniques programmatically to answer questions prioritized by the Sponsor.
Responsibilities
The Contractor Team shall train machine learning models in a variety of ways, to meet a variety of functions, including but not limited to: Synthesis of code to be used for automated webscrapes; Automation of other functions related to webscrapes, including detection and "self-healing" of scrapes; Automated visual detection of object types (like types of vehicles, license plates, etc) within video data; Automated review and analysis of terms of service of companies; Automating open source collection of data that could be used to train Sponsor-owned AI/ML systems and models. The Contractor Team shall provide Model training based on training data that may need to be acquired from other components. The Contractor Team shall create complete AI-based systems, which may include multiple inputs, models, human-review processes and outputs ETL processes and databases.
Qualifications
Required
  • Demonstrated experience with the ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience and knowledge of machine learning tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with extensive math and computer science skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms
  • Demonstrated experience in AI/ML specific programming languages, such as Python, Jav, C++, Conda, etc.

Demonstrated experience training AI models, as well as in integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software architectures.

Target salary range: $104,040 - $183,600. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
