As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will work in a flexible, remote setting that allows you to create your own hours, ensuring an optimal work-life balance. In your daily role as an LCSW, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients' emotional and psychological states, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed.
• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions to aid patients in coping with grief, loss, and anticipatory bereavement.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and progress notes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care and ensure patients' needs are met holistically.
• Provide education and support to families regarding the dying process, grief, and available resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.
• Stay updated on current mental health research and developments in the field to enhance therapeutic techniques and patient outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on patients within the hospice setting, where you'll support individuals facing terminal illnesses. You will also offer services to families dealing with the emotional impacts of caregiving, grief, and bereavement. Your role will require sensitivity and a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding end-of-life care, emphasizing empathy and respect for each patient’s unique journey.

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Washington.
• A strong foundation in solution-focused psychotherapy interventions.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills to foster therapeutic relationships with patients and families.

While not mandatory, the following experience will enhance your candidacy:

• Prior experience working in a hospice or palliative care environment.
• Familiarity with grief counseling techniques and bereavement support.
• Experience collaborating with a diverse patient population and multi-disciplinary teams.
