McCarthy Building Companies is looking for skilled Concrete Carpenters for an exciting project in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will cut, shape, and install concrete forming systems for large concrete pours. The ideal applicant has a minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a commercial carpenter and possesses excellent carpentry techniques. McCarthy proudly offers our craft professionals:

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Form sidewalks, pads, grade beams, and other ground level structures by properly following/reading layout (independently)
* Safely strip wall form systems
* Safely build wall form and deck form systems
* Safely form stairs
* Recognize hazards and danger zones
* Complete Task Hazard Analysis (THA) logs
* Complete required training to use personal arrest system
* Assist other trades when necessary
*QUALIFICATIONS*
* Prior experience with self-perform concrete work in commercial, civil, or marine environments
* Able to plan and execute work with minimum supervision
* Basic understanding of blueprint reading and lay out (transfer levels, off sets, and set points…etc.)
* Able to identify and differentiate form systems and its components
* Must understand level, plumb, area and volume/square concepts
* Understand construction terminology
* Identify common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools (hammer, shovel, water pump, measuring tape, hammer drill, saw, demolition hammer, etc.)
* Proven commitment to Safety
* Work in an organized manner
* Able to work night shifts when needed
* Must have reliable transportation to/from the job site
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions
* Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
* Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
* Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing 50 pounds
* Ability to squat, crawl, and work in confined spaces
* Minimum age 18+
