(CTI) is looking for a self-motivated and experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent. This Superintendent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and safely executing all field operations for assigned concrete construction projects. The Superintendent manages crew scheduling, subcontractors, equipment, materials, schedules, quality control, and safety to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards and contract specifications. This position serves as the primary field leader and works closely with Project Managers, Operations Managers, and Field Crew Supervisors. The Superintendent will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and always represent the company in a friendly and professional manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan, organize, and direct daily field operations to ensure assigned projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards.Supervise, coach, and support Field Crew Supervisors and field personnel by providing leadership, direction, and accountability for project execution. Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Review project plans, specifications, schedules, and scope of work to ensure construction activities are performed accurately and according to contract requirements. Monitor daily production and job progress, proactively identifying and resolving field issues that could impact safety, quality, schedule, or productivity. Maintain the highest standards of workmanship by ensuring all concrete construction activities meet company quality expectations, project specifications, and applicable codes.Promote and enforce a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and safe work practices at all times.Communicate regularly with the Project Manager, Operations Manager, customers, inspectors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved. Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including daily reports, labor and equipment utilization, production quantities, safety records, and other required field documentation. Inspect job sites regularly to verify work quality, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions as needed. Manage and coordinate the efficient use, care, and maintenance of company equipment, tools, and jobsite resources. Mentor and develop Crew Supervisors and field employees by providing training, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional growth. Foster positive working relationships with customers, property owners, inspectors, vendors, and fellow employees while representing the company in a professional manner. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, employee development, and overall project performance.Adhere to and strictly enforce all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations set forth by CTI policies, OSHA, Federal, and State laws. Follow Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) set by the company.Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities, as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of work in a related field, with 3+ of those years in a management position.2-4 years' technical school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering, preferred.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Proficient mathematical skills.Excellent communication and proofreading abilities.Able to accurately read and interpret plans and specifications, site survey control points, and layout building, floor, foundation, and paving work. Understanding of local market dynamics and flexibility when marketplace changes occur.Excellent time management skills. Works well under time constraints and responds positively to change.
