What is a Concierge RN?

A Concierge RN is a registered nurse who provides personalized, high-quality healthcare services to clients, often in a private or luxury setting. They focus on offering customized care, health education, and wellness support, sometimes in homes, hotels, or corporate environments. Unlike traditional nursing roles, Concierge RNs work directly with individuals or organizations to ensure convenient, patient-centered care. Their responsibilities may include wellness assessments, medication management, post-surgical care, and health advocacy.

What does a Concierge RN do?

A typical day for a Concierge RN involves coordinating and delivering personalized healthcare services to a select group of patients, often acting as their primary point of contact for medical questions, scheduling, and clinical support. You will work closely with physicians, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure timely appointments, follow-ups, and continuity of care, sometimes involving home visits or telehealth interactions. The role may include patient education, medication management, and proactive health monitoring. This collaborative, patient-focused environment allows you to make a meaningful difference by providing high-touch, individualized care.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Concierge RN?

To thrive as a Concierge RN, you need a current RN license, in-depth clinical knowledge, and experience in patient-centered care, often gained in both hospital and outpatient settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, appointment scheduling platforms, and telehealth tools is commonly required. Outstanding interpersonal communication, problem-solving abilities, and a strong customer service orientation are crucial soft skills. These qualities are essential for providing seamless, high-quality personalized healthcare support while coordinating between patients, medical providers, and ancillary services.

How can I become a concierge RN?

To become a concierge RN, you typically need to hold a valid registered nurse license by completing an accredited nursing program and passing the NCLEX-RN exam. Experience in patient care and strong communication skills are important, and some roles may require additional certifications such as CPR or specialized training in patient advocacy. Certification is not mandatory but can enhance job prospects in this personalized healthcare setting.

Job description

Description:

This Is Not a Job. It’s a Mission.

This isn’t a traditional nursing role.
It’s an opportunity to help build the future of medicine alongside high-performing professionals who care fiercely and perform relentlessly.

James Clinic is a high-performance integrative medicine practice redefining what modern healthcare looks like. We combine advanced diagnostics, cutting-edge therapies, and uncompromising standards to deliver outcomes most clinics don’t even attempt.
If you’re tired of corporate medicine, insurance games, and bureaucratic nonsense—and want to practice nursing with autonomy, accountability, and purpose—you may be exactly who we’re looking for.
About the Role
We are seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment. This role is ideal for a nurse who takes ownership, thinks critically, and is energized by continuous learning.
The James Clinic evolves quickly. New therapies, systems, and processes are introduced regularly. We need a nurse who is confident, adaptable, and motivated to grow alongside the practice.
What You’ll Do

  • Deliver exceptional patient care in a high-performance integrative      medicine setting
  • Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy with confidence and precision
  • Support advanced therapies and diagnostics
  • Think proactively, identify problems, and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with a driven, mission-focused clinical team
  • Continuously learn and refine skills as the clinic evolves

Clinic Hours

  • Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–6:00pm
  • Friday: 8:00am–5:00pm

Compensation & Benefits
We believe in transparency. James Clinic is a rapidly growing startup.

  • Competitive pay
  • Accrued PTO for full-time staff
  • Free concierge membership with one of the nation’s leading functional medicine clinics
    • Access to personalized care, advanced labs, and a medical team transforming lives daily
    • Flexible, mission-driven work environment where your contributions truly matter

Who This Role Is Not For
This position is intentionally demanding. It is not a fit if you need:

  • Rigid rules or scripts for every decision
  • Micromanagement or constant direction
  • “That’s how we’ve always done it” thinking
  • A slow ramp, low accountability, or average expectations

This environment will feel uncomfortable if you value predictability over performance.
If you thrive where ownership is expected, excellence is the baseline, speed matters, and growth is non-negotiable, you’ll feel right at home at the James Clinic.
Ready to Apply?
If this resonates with you, we’d love to learn more. Apply today and let us know why you’re excited to be part of something bold, different, and meaningful.

Requirements:

Who We’re Looking For

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in MO, multi state preferred
  • Highly skilled in IV placement and phlebotomy
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
  • Adaptable, fast-moving, and solutions-oriented
  • Passionate about patient outcomes and integrative medicine
