Position Summary
The Loading Dock Concierge is responsible for managing loading dock activity, vendor and delivery access, vehicle flow, dock safety, and visitor coordination in a professional Class A property environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, situational awareness, and a hospitality-focused approach when interacting with delivery personnel, vendors, tenants, and property teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor loading dock activity and ensure safe, organized dockoperations.
- Greet and screen delivery personnel, vendors, contractors, andauthorized visitors.
- Verify access authorization and follow all sign-in and visitormanagement procedures.
- Direct delivery vehicles into approved loading dock areas.
- Assist with vehicle flow, pedestrian awareness, and docktraffic coordination.
- Ensure loading dock doors, gates, and access points remainsecure.
- Prevent unauthorized parking, idling, or vehicle congestionnear the loading dock.
- Redirect deliveries to the appropriate dock, freight elevator,or approved delivery location.
- Document delivery activity, entry and exit times, vendorinformation, and incidents.
- Report unsafe conditions, suspicious activity, maintenanceissues, and building concerns.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, property management,vendors, and building teams.
- Follow all property procedures, emergency protocols, postorders, and company standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to companyuniform requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in hospitality, concierge, loading dockoperations, security, logistics, customer service, or building operationspreferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed throughoutthe shift.
- Comfortable using phones, radios, tablets, computers, visitormanagement systems, and basic reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow proceduresconsistently.
- Ability to work independently and communicate issues promptly.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in and around loading dock areas.

Compensation
$23.00 - $24.00 per hour
