Job description

The Field Safety Supervisor serves as the on-site and regional leader responsible for overseeing safety and security operations across multiple locations, including schools, restaurants, event venues, concierge sites, and other contracted facilities. This role ensures consistent execution of safety protocols, effective training and personnel management, emergency preparedness, and high-quality service delivery aligned with client expectations and agency standards.

The Field Safety Supervisor is responsible for supervising Safety Officers across all site types, serving as the primary liaison with operational leadership and clients, and maintaining a proactive, responsive, and professional safety culture across all assigned environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesPersonnel Leadership & Oversight

Directly supervise Safety Officers across multiple site types. Monitor attendance, evaluate performance, provide coaching, and administer corrective action when necessary. Support team development and ensure accountability across all assigned locations.

Multi-Site Security Management

Oversee implementation of site-specific safety protocols across schools, commercial properties, restaurants, concierge sites, and special events. Ensure post orders are followed, risks are identified, and consistent standards are maintained across all locations.

Emergency Response Coordination

Serve as on-scene supervisor during emergencies. Lead incident response efforts, coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and site leadership, and ensure proper escalation procedures are followed. Support drills and preparedness planning across all site environments.

Administrative Documentation & Reporting

Review, approve, and submit incident reports, daily logs, audits, and performance documentation for all assigned personnel. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with agency standards.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Attend safety meetings, respond to client concerns, and maintain strong professional relationships to support operational success and client satisfaction.

Training & Development

Support onboarding and training for new hires across all site types. Reinforce post orders, policies, and procedures. Ensure officers complete required certifications and ongoing training as needed.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

Conduct regular site inspections and performance audits to ensure compliance with agency standards and client expectations. Model professional conduct and enforce consistent service quality across all environments.

Event & Special Operations Support

Partner with the Safety and Partnerships Departments to oversee safety operations for events, including staffing, crowd management, access control, and coordination with event organizers. Ensure safety plans are properly executed for high-traffic or high-profile assignments.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (required); Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Valid Security Officer and/or Security Supervisor certification (Georgia or equivalent where applicable)
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in security, public safety, law enforcement, or supervisory operations role
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multi-site management skills
  • Proficiency with incident reporting systems, scheduling platforms, and operational software
  • Ability to remain composed and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Knowledge of applicable safety protocols, workplace policies, and reporting requirements
