Job description

About the Role

As Manager, Healthcare Delivery Solutions, you will plan and coordinate traditional and innovative approaches to address healthcare needs across all geographic and business units within Kohl's. You will ensure integration between health plan carriers and networks, healthcare systems and health plan/leave of absence vendor partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strategic plans to support nontraditional methods of obtaining healthcare services, including mobile health, telemedicine, centers of excellence, etc. 

  • Negotiate contracts, fees, and ROIs and manage relationships with vendors 

  • Develop strategic plans for integrated healthcare solutions, including patient-centered medical homes, concierge medicine, etc.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health plan networks, including premium-level providers and carve-out programs

  • Evaluate and propose opportunities for improved member steerage to increase healthcare delivery quality and outcomes

  • Lead RFI/RFP processes for vendors and programs and research new programs and solutions

  • Develop a time off strategy for each business unit

  • Analyze reporting from vendor partners and data warehouse to ensure efficiency and make recommendations for changes

  • Develop overall reporting on program results and return on investment

  • Maintain ongoing compliance reviews, including ACA, CAA, HIPAA, ERISA, and patient confidentiality reviews

  • Ensure all time off programs, including leave of absence, paid sick time, holidays, etc., are correctly administered and research new legislation and best practices in these areas

  • Manage direct reports, systems and projects per company policies and practices

  • Prepare and analyze utilization and trend reports

  • Provide excellent leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, driving results

  • Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications

  • Develop staff through coaching, providing performance feedback, providing effective performance assessments and establishing performance and development plans

What Skills You Have

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business related field

  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, primarily in a healthcare-related field and/or benefits capacity, including 3+ years of leading people

  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and apply research, trends, company policies, laws or government regulations

  • Highly effective consulting skills, including the ability to communicate complex messages effectively, create buy-in and ownership and maintain confidentiality

  • Experience working with healthcare delivery, time off and leave of absence

PREFERRED

  • SPHR and/or CEBS certification

  • Benefits/Healthcare consulting experience

  • Background working with diverse business environments

  • Experience in negotiating confidential and sensitive issues 

  • Ability to make decisions for both short-term and long-term planning

  • Experience with proactively managing issues working in collaboration with internal business partners
