Who are we hiring?
The Seasonal Concession Associate is responsible for preparing beverages, food, and merchandise items to sell to guests during events in a friendly & courteous manner. This position is also responsible for maintaining cleanliness of their assigned location, processing cash and charge transactions and assisting Team Leads with timely set-up and breakdown of all work areas, specifics in food safety, food production, guest relations, equipment use and maintenance.
What will you do?
  • Mixes, garnishes, and services alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests.
  • Selling various food, beverage & merchandise items throughout the theatre and front-of-house.
  • Prepare display merchandise & sell products to guestss in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Assist stand leads and supervisors in the set-up of the assigned selling area.
  • Verify cash bank, complete and sign a cashier's worksheet in the money room.
  • Notify the Team Lead of product that requires replenishment during an event.
  • Have a working knowledge of the theatre policies and important locations, i.e. restrooms, telephones, medical, security, etc.
  • Answer and direct guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist Team Lead in the closing down of concession and bar areas at the conclusion of an event.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains Health Dept. standards and executes the procedures in place.
  • Adheres to TEAM training guidelines
  • Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.

What do you need to succeed?
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Must be able to handle transactions without a register.
  • Must be comfortable with heights.
  • Must be able to complete daily and nightly inventory.
  • Flexibility in scheduling with the ability to work at least 4 days/nights a week including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to multi-task and partner with asst. supervisors to handle customer service issues.
  • Must be flexible to rotate positions within a shift.
  • This position is part time and event driven.
  • Bartending license is a plus.

Special Requirements
  • This is a seasonal position that will be scheduled for the duration of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. Potential to convert to part time regular role based on business needs and performance may be available.
  • Must be receptive to working outside in inclement weather and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to climb and descend multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment or supplies
  • This position is part-time and scheduled on an event driven basis.
  • Must be able to work within an environment with loud noises and everchanging visuals.
  • Ability to stand and move about the theater throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, have split days off, work weekends and holidays in a 24 X 7 environment.
