Job description


The Concession Worker position is responsible for replenishing stock, preparing and serving food, serving guests and maintaining cleaning standards incompliance with food safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for greeting guests and taking orders for food and beverage products.
  • Responsible for preparing simple foods and beverages utilizing the company recipes and portion standards. Maintain the highest quality standards and portion consistency.
  • Responsible for accepting payment from guests and making change as necessary.
  • Responsible for keeping the work area and surroundings clean using sanitation standards.
  • Responsible for memorizing the product menu available at each concession location.
  • Assist in cleaning up and breaking down of the concession/kitchen areas at the end of the event.
  • Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
  • Responsible for cooking and packaging food products which are prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Perform tasks and cook in a commercial kitchen setting, using hot and cold kitchen equipment safely
  • Receives verbal orders from the front counter staff regarding food product requirements for guest orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items. Food must be fresh and of high quality when served to the guests.
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
  • Responsible for operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens.
  • Ensures that all work areas and equipment are clean, food products are properly stored, utensils are clean and put away and floor is swept and mopped at end of shift.
  • Select correct product, compile and distribute to specified stands by manager/supervisor in a timely & safe manner
  • Deliver assigned food items to specified stands/areas in a timely and safe manner
  • Stock or re-stock products and items, in a timely and safe manner using product rotation to ensure quality for gust experience
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the food service industry
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to walk or stand for extended time periods, up to 6-8 hours
  • Must be able to safely operate all kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow recipes
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
  • Crosstrain at other stations at the location
  • Work in other areas or departments as needed
  • Completion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team
