Overview
Oak View Group has an exciting opening for an Operations Supervisor at Enmarket Arena. The Operations Supervisor oversees and coordinates event setup activities and operations for the facility and provides responsible staff assistance to the Operations leaders.
This role pays an hourly rate of $22.00-$25.00

This position will remain open until October 9, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for all staffing and staff activities involved in the operations department at Enmarket Arena, Johnny Mercer Theatre, Port Wentworth Ice Cove, Vystar Pavilion, and any future properties.
  • Provide and oversee staffing for ice sheet installation/removal, including paint, logos/decals, flooding, and leveling.
  • Perform and oversee day-to-day building operations, maintenance, and special projects.
  • Coordinate third-party operations staff.
  • Assist event department with rider specifications, ensuring all setups are completed and set to specifications in data sheets.
  • Oversee and monitor changeover crews and provide team support as required.
  • Maintains and oversees departmental equipment; notifies Operations Manager as additional services are required.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients to provide a positive employee climate.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and provide staffing updates in weekly meetings.
  • Deliver timely and accurate information to operations staff for the proper setup and breakdown of the facility.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance of retractable seating, permanent seating, and temporary seating.
  • Facilitate event load-ins and load-outs that are typically early in the mornings and/or late into the evenings at Johnny Mercer Theatre and Enmarket Arena.
  • Communicate in a timely fashion to the Operations Manager.
  • Works with third-party vendors and operations managers to upkeep star dressing rooms, locker rooms, and interior spaces in the facility.
  • Schedules third-party employees and ensures proper staffing for changeovers and event days.
  • Check weekly time sheets for accuracy, taking into account event budgets.
  • Ensure time sheets are submitted in a timely manner for all third-party staff.
  • Interacts with other facility staff in a courteous, cooperative, and professional manner.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Technical degree from an accredited college/university/school.
  • 2-3+ years' experience in facility events and operations supervision.
  • Related experience and/or training in a public assembly/hockey facility preferred.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and an extended number of consecutive days.
  • Knowledge of operational characteristics of events, including crowd management and control techniques, fire and public safety regulations, and food service practices.
  • Production experience involving concert setup, basketball, hockey, and special events is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to function and make management decisions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
