Job description

Retail Associate – Part-Time

Prince's Paisley Park is seeking a friendly, reliable individual for a part-time retail position. As a Retail Associate, you will provide excellent customer service to guests, encourage merchandise purchases, and engage visitors with the incredible world of Prince's Paisley Park. This position is located on-site at Paisley Park in Chanhassen, MN.

Pay: $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.

ABOUT PAISLEY PARK
Paisley Park is an active museum, state-of-the-art recording studio, and concert venue. For nearly 30 years, the facility served as Prince's home, creative sanctuary, and production complex. Fulfilling Prince's vision that Paisley Park would one day be open to the public, the venue today welcomes fans, musicians, and audiophiles for tours, concerts, festivals, and special events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform POS and cash-handling duties in an efficient, responsible, and timely manner.

  • Assist with processing and unloading merchandise, replenishing the sales floor, and completing additional operational tasks.

  • Maintain excellent visual standards and housekeeping in the Paisley Park shop to create a positive experience for every guest.

WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work weekdays and evenings as scheduled.

  • Ability to stand for the duration of a shift.

  • Must occasionally lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder.

  • Must adhere to a pescatarian work environment while on the Paisley Park campus. (Fish, eggs, and dairy are fine inside the building; beef, chicken, and other non-pescatarian foods may be consumed off-site or in your vehicle.)
