Job description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough." You want to make an impact, not just manage projects, but change how the world gets built. At Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects, you'll do exactly that. You'll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving - and do it smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold - project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI. Together, we're transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed, creating a better way to build for the future. Because "good enough" builds the past.

You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm. Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects (Internal Title: Business System Configuration / Development IV) The PMIS Implementation Manager (Octave Sequence / EcoSys) is responsible for leading the implementation, adoption, and continuous expansion of the Octave Sequence (formerly EcoSys) Project Management Information System (PMIS) across enterprise capital projects and programs. Reporting to the Program Delivery Executive, this role serves as the delivery manager for the Octave Sequence workstream, ensuring the successful implementation of the platform while supporting the organization's broader capital project controls transformation.

During the initial implementation phase, the PMIS Implementation Manager oversees the third-party implementation partner responsible for configuring and deploying the solution, ensuring delivery remains aligned with business objectives, project controls best practices, implementation quality, and overall program milestones. The role acts as the primary interface between the implementation partner, client stakeholders, and the internal program leadership team. Following successful implementation of the initial pilot, the PMIS Implementation Manager transitions into leading the continued rollout and evolution of the platform across the enterprise.

This includes onboarding additional business units, expanding functionality, managing the product roadmap, coordinating future releases, and driving continuous improvement to establish Octave Sequence as the enterprise Project Management Information System (PMIS) supporting capital project delivery. The successful candidate combines strong enterprise implementation leadership with demonstrated experience delivering or overseeing Octave Sequence (EcoSys) implementations and a deep understanding of Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) used to support major capital projects and programs. PMIS Implementation Delivery: Lead the day-to-day delivery of the Octave Sequence PMIS implementation.

Develop and maintain detailed implementation plans, schedules, and delivery roadmaps. Coordinate project mobilization and onboarding activities. Manage implementation milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.

Monitor project progress and proactively manage implementation risks and issues. Coordinate business readiness, testing, production deployment, cutover, and hypercare activities. Ensure successful transition from implementation into operational support.

Implementation Partner Management: Manage the third-party implementation partner responsible for configuring and deploying Octave Sequence. Ensure implementation activities remain aligned with agreed scope, schedule, quality expectations, and business outcomes. Monitor implementation progress, deliverables, and resource performance.

Coordinate design reviews, implementation workshops, testing activities, and deployment planning. Escalate strategic issues, delivery risks, and major decisions to the Program Delivery Executive when appropriate. PMIS Product Ownership & Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain the Octave Sequence product roadmap.

Prioritize enhancement requests and future platform capabilities. Lead onboarding of additional projects, business units, and functional areas. Coordinate future software releases, upgrades, and platform improvements.

Drive user adoption and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with business stakeholders to continuously mature the organization's PMIS capabilities and project controls processes. Ensure Octave Sequence continues to evolve alongside organizational project controls maturity and business needs.

Project Management: Maintain integrated project plans, implementation schedules, RAID logs, meeting cadences, and project reporting throughout the implementation lifecycle. Solution Delivery Leadership: Act as the primary implementation authority for Octave Sequence, providing guidance on platform capabilities, implementation best practices, configuration strategy, and solution design while ensuring the implementation maximizes standard product functionality and minimizes unnecessary customization. Ensure the implementation follows a structured lifecycle including mobilization, discovery, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare, while supporting long-term scalability and maintainability.

Enterprise implementations are expected to follow a configuration-first philosophy with minimal customization and phased rollout approaches. Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, design reviews, and implementation activities while ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders. Escalate strategic decisions, scope changes, and significant delivery risks through the established program governance structure.

Technical Delivery Oversight: Provide delivery oversight to ensure all technical workstreams remain aligned, integrated, and executed according to agreed implementation standards and PMIS best practices. Governance & Quality Assurance: Support the Program Delivery Executive by providing accurate implementation reporting while ensuring delivery activities align with overall program governance. Team Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership by setting priorities, coordinating delivery activities, resolving implementation issues, fostering collaboration, and ensuring successful execution across the implementation team.
