Job Description

Job Duties
Technical Project Manager to implement client Budget System
Coordinate with staff resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of the project (implementation of the Budget System).
Develop project scope and objective, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure all deliverables are ontime, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Establish clear and concise communication plan
Report status and escalate issues to City/Consultant management as needed
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation


Required Skills/Experience
Experience implementing Budget System, preferably for any government agency (must have)
Strong understanding of municipal budgeting concepts
Ability to develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Knowledge of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Ability to measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Ability to effectively perform risk management to minimize project risks
Ability to maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Fouryear degree preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering
Proven working experience as a project manager implementing technology projects

Additional Skills/Experience
Solid technical background, with understanding or handson experience in Budget System implementations
Excellent clientfacing and internal communication skills
