Job Description - COMSEC Policy Architect
We are seeking a highly motivated COMSEC Policy Architect to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing policy updates for our government customer. The role involves working closely with Government officials, decision-makers, Warfighters, vendors, and other contractors.
Responsibilities
  • Understand the fundamentals of COMSEC components including encryption, decryption, and key management, so to create comprehensive policy and upgrade recommendations.
  • Apply cybersecurity technologies and best practices to secure NSS and National Security Information (NSI).
  • The ability to create a plan to modernize COMSEC components to meet current and future security requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and performance standards.
  • Design and implement secure communication systems.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of legacy, current, and future equipment.
  • Stay current on developments in cybersecurity and COMSEC technologies.

Requirements
  • Ability to assist the Government in implementing cybersecurity technologies for a government-wide enterprise.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations such as NIST Special Publications, FIPS, and NSA/CSS Policy Manual 3-16.
  • Experience in working with decision-makers and Warfighters to understand secure communication needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must hold a Top Secret Clearance.
