Job description

Nexstar Media Inc. Youngstown, OH has a career opportunity for someone looking to get into the advertising and marketing sales industry with the market leader. The Sales Coordinator will be part of the Sales Department working with the entire team. We take pride in offering the most array of marketing solutions to every type of business. We have 4 Broadcast TV Stations, 2 websites, 3 mobile apps and a full-scale digital marketing agency specializing in services such as streaming, display search, and video. This position is vital to our sales team and has major growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
  • Enter and manage TV and digital advertising campaign orders, including commercial trafficking
  • Build and update sales reports
  • Create client presentations
  • Learn and use research tools to support sales and drive revenue
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements/Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to learn industry research tools and software, including Nielsen, ComScore, Marshall Marketing, Kantar, WideOrbit, and Matrix (training provided)

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree, vocational school or equivalent experience required.
Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements: This position requires a positive, team-oriented attitude and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities and challenges. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
