We're hiring a full-time Senior Accountant, Section 8 & Federal Reporting for our Finance & Accounting Division.
As a Senior Accountant, you will drive key accounting functions that contribute to our mission. In this role, you will:
  • Prepare and submit accurate, timely monthly reports of unit and Housing Assistance Payment activity through federal reporting systems.
  • Interpret and apply federal accounting regulations to financial transactions, reporting requirements, and accounting processes.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting processes and systems that support rental assistance programs and federal compliance.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for federal agencies and serve as a key resource for questions related to rental assistance reporting.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective financial stewardship of public funds.

Your experience, skills, and education should include:
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
  • Strong accounting knowledge and experience.
  • Strong ability to leverage computerized financial and accounting systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Government or fund accounting included in accounting coursework preferred or related certifications such as the NH Government Accounting Certificate.
  • Eight to Nine years relevant work experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
