Job description

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a CAD Designer (electrical or structural) to support the design of US Navy Test Facilities, as well as other design projects. This position will be based out of our office in Thorofare, NJ.
Qualifications:
  • 3 to 7 years of professional experience in structural or electrical design
  • Experience with designing large scale machinery/equipment within large facilities is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) and drawing development, preferably with AutoCAD.
  • Capable of developing 2D drawing packages from 3D models is preferred
  • 3D design and modeling is required (AutoCad preferred)
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards in their respective discipline.

Minimum Requirements
Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.
Have strong verbal and written communications skills.
Candidates with a "team player" mindset are preferred.
