Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain computer testing room(s)
    • Prepare room in advance of scheduled exams
    • Monitor computers; assure operational status; troubleshoot common problems
    • Restore testing area to its previous arrangement prior to exiting following exams
  • Manage test scheduling and related procedures
    • Apply technical knowledge and skills for problem solving, trouble shooting and continuous improvement of process and procedures related to delivery of the online nursing program
    • Develop exam schedule
  • Proctor computer-based exams
    • Validate appropriate identification as necessary for admission to exam
    • Help students log in to necessary exam
    • Troubleshoot testing issues as necessary
    • Monitor exam process and progress
    • Enforce all rules and regulations as necessary
    • Follow established protocol for integrity breaches
  • Provide technical assistance
    • Maintain and update knowledge of current operating technology
  • Provide administrative support
    • Perform various tasks, assignments, and projects as directed by site and nursing administration
    • Perform additional duties as requested by nursing faculty
    • Maintain and manage individual and group scheduling and calendars
    • Manage phone calls, both incoming and outgoing
    • Perform inventory control and purchase supplies and equipment for site
