Job description

Our rapidly growing Lethbridge Truck Town Auto Spa department is expanding to offer additional specialized automotive detailing services and automotive protection packages including film protection, windshield replacement, undercoating, polishing, ceramic coating, and much more!


We are also a member of the Murray Auto Group which has been in the automotive business since 1926 and has since grown to operate over 30 automotive dealerships across the country. The Murray Auto Group has been recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed companies for the last 7 consecutive years, earning Platinum Membership status.


We are currently hiring for a Full-Time Automotive Windshield Installer.


If you love vehicles, have previous windshield repair/replacement experience, are fanatical about details, are an obsessive-compulsive neat freak, and hate it when there are fingerprints on anything, we want to hear from you!

The ideal candidate for this position would possess the following education, experience, and attributes:

•Minimum of 1 to 2 years of windshield installation and windshield repair experience is required

  1. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent/in-progress
  1. Prior work experience preferred where significant attention to detail was absolutely required
  1. Physically able to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (Moderate Physical Demands including significant amounts of time standing, bending, leaning, crouching etc.)
  1. Ability to Speak, read and write English is required.
  1. Valid Minimum Class 5 Driver’s License or equivalent is absolutely required
  1. Basic Computer Skills and Applications is required (internet, hardware & software concepts etc.)
  1. WHIMIS & First Aid Training would be an asset.
  1. Personal attributes including but not limited to: Punctuality, Reliability, Detail oriented, Independent working style, Team player, Fast Learner, and Adaptable to Change


Responsibilities and duties will include but not necessarily be limited to the following:

  1. Removing and successfully installing windshields in customer and dealership vehicles. Ordering parts and products from wholesalers. Tracking department inventory.
  2. Completing windshield rock chip repair.
  3. Removing and installing basic automotive parts including cabin and air filters.
  1. Washing, waxing, shampooing, vacuuming, polishing, buffing and cleaning customer vehicles as required.
  1. Learning and following the proper operational procedures and instructions required to safely operate and maintain all required equipment.
  1. Following all manufactures and company safety guidelines surrounding the proper use and disposal of chemicals, cleaning agents, and detailing equipment.
  1. Completing all required paperwork and computer processes to track and schedule work
  1. Regular lifting of up to 40lbs – Moderate Physical Demands
  1. Transporting completed vehicles from and to the dealership as directed/needed.
  1. Utilizing training and experience to safely and efficiently undertake and apply specialized automotive products to new and used vehicles.
  1. Miscellaneous tasks and responsibilities assigned on an as needed basis by the General Manager/Controller of Truck Town or by the Detailing Supervisor.
