Sentar is seeking a Computer and Information Systems Manager – SME at Scott AFB, IL!

Role Description:

Provides executive-level technical and managerial leadership for enterprise information systems, cybersecurity operations, and network defense activities. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex IT and cybersecurity programs, including boundary defense operations, firewall and web application firewall (WAF) administration, proxy services, and defensive cyber operations. Oversees contractor personnel, manages operational performance, develops strategic initiatives, and serves as a senior liaison with government stakeholders, mission partners, and external organizations. Provides expert guidance for the design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of secure enterprise network and information systems environments.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: Secret

Certifications: One or more industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GSLC, CCSP, CASP+, or equivalent.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in information systems, cybersecurity operations, network security, or enterprise IT management, including at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role supporting large-scale DoD or Federal cybersecurity operations.
