Job description

McLaughlin Research Corporation has an opening for a full-time Security Specialist I position supporting the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport in the area of Physical Security. Duties include: Conduct physical and traditional (non-cyber) security assessments to assess classified labs, storage containers and spaces, computer work stations, and classified work areas to verify and report areas of compliance and noncompliance. Provide assessments to the Government Inspection Lead noting areas of compliance and noncompliance verbally and in writing Conduct vetting checks for visitors Conduct RAMs (Random Anti-Terrorism Measure) Assist in discrepancies/investigations Assist in inspections/events Some administrative duties Job Requirements Eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance * Attention to detail and situational awareness.
