• Design, implement, and modify person-centered and recovery-based treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to continuously evaluate treatment needs, leveraging tools such as standardized assessments and collaborative goal-setting.
• Collaborate with clients to develop vital coping strategies, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities to enhance their daily interactions.
• Educate and advocate for clients by connecting them to essential community services that provide additional support and resources.
• Monitor and manage symptoms through evidence-based interventions, ensuring clients remain engaged in their recovery process.
• Facilitate skill-building activities focused on daily living skills, anger management, and developing healthy leisure activities.
• Provide closure and aftercare planning, ensuring clients have a robust support network when transitioning out of active treatment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards while navigating sensitive client information.

Our clientele primarily consists of adults over the age of 18 who face varying degrees of mental health challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will be instrumental in helping these individuals achieve and maintain community stability and independence. Your role will emphasize a recovery-oriented approach that respects clients' autonomy and fosters resilience through tailored interventions.

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure in California, such as:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Ability to practice independently without supervision and an unblemished disciplinary record concerning licensure.
• Strong proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with telehealth technologies.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection.

• Demonstrated experience providing direct clinical services in mental health settings, with a focus on adult populations.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Experience with developing and facilitating community integration programs or activities.
