Job description

Equivity is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys handling motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, slip and fall, dog bite, wrongful death, product liability, catastrophic injury, workers' compensation, and other negligence-based cases.You'll join a long-term remote team supporting attorneys while receiving ongoing support from Equivity's operations and leadership.
What You'll Do
  • Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation
  • Draft correspondence, demand packages, pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and settlement documents
  • Collect and summarize medical records, bills, police reports, and other evidence
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Track statutes, deadlines, treatment, and case milestones
  • Coordinate e-filings, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
  • Assist with settlement administration, lien resolution, and case closing
About You
  • 3+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Available at least 20 hours/week to start
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with Clio, Filevine, CASEpeer, or similar software is a plus
  • Windows-based computer preferred
  • Responsive during standard business hours (9:00 AM–6:00 PM)
