• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, integrating data from multiple sources to inform treatment planning.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address both psychiatric and co-occurring medical conditions for each patient.
• Facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions, applying evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques based on the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to foster an interconnected care approach, ensuring coordinated treatment strategies and positive patient outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for patients in mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning.
• Educate patients on the interplay between mental health and physical well-being, equipping them with tools to manage their symptoms effectively.
• Maintain client confidentiality and accuracy in medical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing team meetings and interdisciplinary care planning sessions to share insights and refine treatment approaches.
• Commit to staying current with industry research, best practices, and advancements in integrated mental health care.

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing complex health issues, including but not limited to autoimmune disorders, chronic pain syndromes, and substance use disorders. Our patients frequently have multifaceted healthcare needs, and you will be integral in facilitating their journey toward recovery and improved quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience working with mental health populations, particularly those with co-occurring medical conditions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with patients and collaboration with team members.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold ethical standards while protecting patient confidentiality.
• Competence in using both standard computer applications and electronic health record systems.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute to an interdisciplinary team environment.

• Previous experience in outpatient therapeutic environments or community mental health settings.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care or evidence-based treatment modalities is highly desirable.
• Experience with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms.
