As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and developing personalized treatment plans based on these assessments.
• Providing ethical, empathetic, and compassionate mental health counseling via video chat, ensuring confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Teaching coping strategies and problem-solving techniques that empower clients to manage their concerns more effectively.
• Regularly monitoring clients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Documenting client sessions and treatment updates succinctly on our easy-to-use counseling platform while minimizing paperwork to streamline your focus on client care.

Your primary focus will be on stable, low-acuity adults in need of mental health support. These clients typically present with common challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and life transitions. You will play a vital role in equipping them with the skills and insights necessary to navigate their daily lives more effectively.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• A current state license in one of the following: LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, or PsyD is essential for practice.
• You must possess the ability to maintain independent licensure without supervision and have no disciplinary actions on your record.
• Strong interpersonal skills paired with proficiency in computer literacy to navigate our online platforms effectively.
• A reliable internet connection to ensure seamless communication with clients.

While the minimum qualifications are outlined above, candidates with experience in remote therapy or telehealth, as well as a background in working with adults facing low-acuity mental health issues, will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with virtual counseling tools and techniques designed for online therapy environments is a plus.
