Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to fill a full-time position, specializing in remote treatment within our Hospice Center located in Yerington, Nevada. This position will be carried out in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our team and clients. Our Hospice Center focuses on a comprehensive approach that treats the emotional, psychological, and spiritual aspects of patients’ lives. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including social workers, nurses, and hospice specialists, to provide coordinated care for our patients.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gain an understanding of each patient’s unique needs, developing tailored treatment plans that adhere to best practice standards.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to help patients manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and promote healing among patients and families facing end-of-life issues.
• Provide crisis intervention services and develop strategies for patients in distress, ensuring their safety and emotional support.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
• Engage in regular case consultations and collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including attending workshops and pursuing continuing education opportunities.

Our primary focus is on individuals coping with serious health conditions, including those in hospice care. This role requires sensitivity and a deep understanding of the mental health challenges faced by patients at the end of life, empowering them to find peace and support through therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques relevant to diverse populations.
• Experience in delivering therapy in individual and group settings, particularly with patients facing terminal illnesses.
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and empathy skills to effectively support patients and their families.
• Strong ethical judgment and professional boundary awareness in sensitive therapeutic environments.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications for documentation and communication.
• A collaborative spirit to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience as a licensed mental health professional, particularly in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Familiarity with end-of-life issues and bereavement support.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting psychoeducational workshops or group therapy sessions.
