Your primary responsibilities as an LMFT will include:

• Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions with a focus on achieving relevant therapeutic goals.
• Performing thorough intake assessments to understand clients’ emotional, behavioral, and relational concerns.
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical interactions with precision, adhering to HIPAA regulations and InStride Health Associates’ policies.
• Collaborating with colleagues in team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and uphold a high standard of clinical practice.
• Engaging in community outreach initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health services and promoting available resources.
• Providing crisis intervention services and emotional support, utilizing evidence-based practices to effectively manage urgent situations.

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and life experiences. Your expertise will be essential in supporting victims of trauma, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families undergoing transitions. Your role is to create a healing environment where clients feel safe and empowered to explore and address their concerns.

To excel in this position, you must possess the following credentials:

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Vermont.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting providing therapeutic services.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your application:

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment where access to mental health services was championed.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation software that facilitates remote therapy.
• Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, relationship therapy, or family dynamics.
