• Establish rapport with clients by facilitating a safe and trusting atmosphere where they can openly discuss their thoughts and emotions.

• Utilize strong active listening and communication skills to validate client experiences, ensuring they feel understood and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to deliver holistic and comprehensive care adapted to the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Engage in regular self-reflection and continuous professional development to improve counseling practices and remain current in best practices within the clinical counseling field.

As a member of our team, you will serve a diverse array of clients, each facing unique mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to understand and empathize with clients from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will be vital in fostering an inclusive healing environment.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work or a related field is required for this position.
• Current Licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Demonstrated experience of at least two (2) years as an LPCC, although five (5) years of experience is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, to document client interactions and manage administrative tasks efficiently.

• Experience working in community health settings, especially within diverse populations.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and remote counseling methodologies, with an emphasis on creating connection in a digital format.
• Training in trauma-informed care or other specialized therapeutic approaches is a plus.
